Residency Hot Spot via Ayumi Horie

I just received a lovely email from Ayumi Horie who is International Center for Ceramics- Guldagergaard in Denmark. It has come up in many many conversations about good residency programs as one of the best. I know that Jeanne Quinn and Anders Rhuwald both enjoyed their time there as well. It is a distant (or maybe not so distant) dream of mine to attend... Here are some pictures courtesy of Ayumi.
And some information about the residency:

Residence Program

JANUARY - OCTOBER

International artists, craftsmen and designers from all over the world can apply to work in the studios and develop a specific project.

Guldagergaard gives the individual the possibility of concentrated studio work, investigation and research. The center offers a fine combination of international atmosphere and professional dialogue.

The residence program is intended for artists who wish to work independently in the studios, but applicants may want to consider the thematic programs that interest them when scheduling their residency. Calendar

Guldagergaard holds a maximum of 20 resident artists.
